Samaritans Walk offers opportunities for physical activity in our new location. The gym is equipped with platforms, para benches, weightlifting machines, dumbbell free weights, resistance bands, cardio equipment, custom and adaptive equipment, stretching tables, standing frames, a vibration plate, FES (functional electrical stimulation) cycles and more. We train clientele for functional movements, athletic events, weight loss, and general fitness. The entirety of Samaritans Walk is handicap accessible.
We always design workouts for a particular goal or set of goals. Every exercises will fulfill the plan of giving you the best chance of success. Our knowledge and experience are yours. We encourage you to engage us, ask questions, and ensure that you are having a positive experience.
Generally, workouts begin with a stretch on the table followed by a form of standing activity. It is important to us that you have a chance to get out of your chair. We understand the issues that come with prolonged sedentary periods. After stretching and standing, we begin our strengthening exercises. The objective of these exercises is for you to have a more comfortable, more effective life, whether that means athletic achievement or an easier time with activities of daily living.
